This was a gift from a friend. It has proven to be an invaluable source of understanding and data about the lives of Czech immigrants to the US. Although it is specific to those of catholic faith, it is a trove of family names, places and occupations for genealogists. In many cases the descriptions found here fill in missing pieces to genealogist's picture of the circumstances that the post Civil War landscape was like for these 1st and 2nd generation communities.
